Custom Stonework

Where artistry and construction come together
Stone gives us the freedom to build beyond a standard wall or patio. We build granite steps, fieldstone walls, fireplaces, fire pits, fountains, planters, mailbox posts, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Our masons work with the shape, color, grain, and texture of each stone while knowing how to build the base, tie a wall together, and make the work last. Anyone can be taught to set a stone, but craftsmanship, artistry, and a genuine love for stone come with the person, and our crew has all three.
What we create
A boulder can become a fountain or planter. Granite can become a mailbox post. We also incorporate outdoor lighting into stonework and outdoor spaces. Bring us an idea and give us room to be creative, and we can build something made specifically for you.

Who is it for
For homeowners who want more than the standard approach
We work well with homeowners who want something more personal than a standard masonry project. You may know exactly what you want built, or you may have an idea and want to see where we can take it. Either way, you care about craftsmanship, proper construction, and the details that make custom stonework worth doing. You choose what we build. Give us room to bring our ideas and judgment to it, and we can create something you will not find anywhere else.

The Cape Landscapes Difference
If you can imagine it in stone, we can build it
Questions you may have
Can you build something I have only seen in a photo?
Yes. Bring the photo. Fountains, birdbaths, planters, and fireplaces built from an idea are most of our custom work, and we plan each piece to fit your house and the landscape around it.
Do you do stone veneer inside the house?
Yes, inside and out. Indoors that means fireplace walls, accent walls, and entryways. Outside it means foundations, chimneys, and columns.
Can you match the stone already on my house?
Yes. We match new stone to the old by color, grain, and cut, and set it tight enough that the join disappears.
Can I give you a rough idea and let you run with it?
Yes. Some of our favorite pieces started as a rough idea from a homeowner who let us be creative with it.
